Description
Super soft burger buns that are fluffy, buttery, and easy to make at home.
Ingredients
Scale
¼ cup warm milk
1 â…“ cup warm water
1 tablespoon instant yeast
1 ½ tablespoons sugar
1 large egg
2 teaspoons salt
4 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
¼ cup softened butter
1 egg (egg wash)
1 tablespoon water
Sesame seeds optional
Instructions
1. Mix warm milk, water, yeast, and sugar
2. Add egg, salt, and flour to form dough
3. Knead and add butter until smooth
4. Let dough rise until doubled
5. Divide and shape into buns
6. Let rise again for 30–45 minutes
7. Brush with egg wash and add sesame seeds
8. Bake at 375°F for 15–18 minutes
Notes
Use warm liquid, not hot
Do not overbake
