Description
Creamy strawberry shortcake pudding layered with roasted strawberries, vanilla wafers, and whipped vanilla pudding.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups water
1 3.4 oz vanilla instant pudding mix
1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
3 cups heavy cream
2 lb fresh strawberries
1 tbsp sugar
1 box vanilla wafers
Instructions
1. Add water and vanilla pudding mix to a bowl. Whisk until smooth.
2. Add sweetened condensed milk and whisk again. Chill for at least 4 hours.
3. Preheat oven to 350F. Slice strawberries and toss with sugar.
4. Bake strawberries for 15-25 minutes until soft and juicy. Cool completely.
5. Whip heavy cream until soft peaks form.
6. Fold whipped cream into chilled pudding mixture gently.
7. Layer pudding, strawberries, and vanilla wafers in serving bowl.
8. Repeat layers until ingredients are used.
9. Chill at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use fresh strawberries for best flavor.
Chill overnight for softer wafer texture.
Serve cold for best consistency.
