Description
This instant pot Mississippi pot roast is tender, juicy, and packed with bold flavor using simple ingredients.
Ingredients
2 tablespoons oil
3–4 pound beef chuck roast
1 ranch seasoning packet
1 au jus gravy packet
1 cup beef broth
3–4 pepperoncini peppers
Instructions
1. Place oil into Instant Pot and sear roast on all sides until browned
2. Add beef broth and sprinkle seasoning packets over roast
3. Place pepperoncini peppers on top
4. Seal lid and cook on high pressure for 45 minutes
5. Allow natural release for 20 minutes
6. Shred beef and mix with juices before serving
Notes
Use chuck roast for best results
Do not skip natural pressure release
Serve with mashed potatoes for best flavor
