Ingredients
2 pounds chicken wings
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/3 cup hot sauce
3 tablespoons melted butter
1 tablespoon honey
Ranch or blue cheese dressing for serving
Celery sticks for serving
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with foil. Place a wire rack on top.
2. Pat the wings completely dry with paper towels.
3. In a large bowl, toss wings with baking powder, salt, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and olive oil.
4. Arrange wings in a single layer on the wire rack.
5. Bake for 20 minutes, then flip and bake another 20–25 minutes until crispy and golden.
6. Meanwhile, whisk together hot sauce, melted butter, and honey in a bowl.
7. Transfer cooked wings to a large bowl and toss with the sauce.
8. Serve immediately with ranch dressing and celery sticks.
Notes
Drying the wings well helps create crispy skin.
Use aluminum-free baking powder for best flavor.
For extra heat, add cayenne pepper to the seasoning mix.
