Description
A refreshing and creamy Carlota de Limón made with lime juice, milk, and Maria cookies. This no-bake Mexican dessert is easy and delicious.
Ingredients
Scale
1 can evaporated milk
1 can sweetened condensed milk
3/4 cup fresh lime juice
2 packages Maria cookies
1 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Line the pan with parchment paper.
2. Blend milk and lime juice until smooth.
3. Layer cream and cookies in pan.
4. Repeat layers and finish with cream.
5. Refrigerate at least 4 hours.
6. Whip cream with sugar and vanilla.
7. Decorate and serve chilled.
Notes
Use fresh lime juice for best flavor.
Chill overnight for best texture.
Decorate before serving.
