Description
Best Crockpot BBQ Chicken made with juicy chicken breasts, BBQ sauce, Italian dressing, and a few other simple ingredients. Perfect for sandwiches, tacos, or rice.
Ingredients
2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts (trimmed of fat)
1 1/4 cups BBQ sauce
1/2 cup Italian dressing
2 tbsp light brown sugar (optional)
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
1. Spray the crockpot with non-stick cooking spray.
2. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder, then place in the crockpot.
3. In a bowl, whisk together BBQ sauce, Italian dressing, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce.
4. Pour sauce mixture over the chicken breasts and cook on high for 2.5-3 hours or low for 5-6 hours.
5. Once cooked, shred chicken with two forks and stir back into the sauce.
6. Serve on buns, in tacos, or over rice and enjoy!
Notes
Use any BBQ sauce of your choice for a customized flavor.
For a spicier dish, add hot sauce or chili powder to the sauce mix.
Chill any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days.
