Easy asparagus in air fryer with olive oil, garlic, lemon, and crisp-tender texture.
Ingredients
1 pound fresh asparagus
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons grated parmesan, optional
Instructions
1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
2. Trim woody ends from asparagus.
3. Toss asparagus with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
4. Place asparagus in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
5. Cook for 5 to 9 minutes, shaking halfway through.
6. Finish with lemon juice and parmesan if desired.
Notes
Use thin asparagus for faster cooking.
Do not overcrowd the basket.
Add parmesan during the last 1 to 2 minutes for a cheesy finish.
