Crispy air fryer chicken wings with juicy meat, simple seasoning, and easy sauce options.
Ingredients
2 lb split chicken wings
1 tbsp aluminum-free baking powder
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
Buffalo sauce or preferred sauce
Instructions
1. Pat chicken wings very dry.
2. Toss wings with baking powder, oil, salt, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, and pepper.
3. Place wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
4. Air fry at 380°F for 18 minutes, flipping halfway.
5. Increase heat to 400°F and cook 4 to 6 minutes until crispy.
6. Toss with sauce or serve sauce on the side.
Notes
Do not use baking soda.
Cook in batches for the crispiest wings.
Chicken should reach 165°F internally.
