Ingredients

1 cup water
2 1/4 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 tbsp vanilla
1/2 cup sour cream
2 eggs
1 cup butter (frosting)
4 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tbsp vanilla
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare pan
2. Boil butter and water
3. Mix dry ingredients
4. Combine wet and dry ingredients
5. Add eggs, sour cream, and vanilla
6. Pour batter and bake 18–20 minutes
7. Prepare frosting
8. Spread frosting over warm cake
9. Let cool before serving

Do not overbake
Use room temperature ingredients
