These vegan Halloween cookies are spooky, sweet, and easy to bake! Perfectly chewy with a rich chocolate base, festive sprinkles, and dairy-free candies, they’re a must-have treat for every Halloween celebration.

1 flax egg

1 cup vegan butter

¾ cup brown sugar

¾ cup granulated sugar

1 tablespoon vanilla

2 ½ cups all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon cornstarch

½ cup dutch-process cocoa powder

1 ½ teaspoons baking soda

1 ½ teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 ½ cups dairy-free chocolate chips

1 cup vegan candies

½ cup Halloween sprinkles

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F/175°C. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

2. Make the flax egg and set it aside.

3. In a large bowl, beat vegan butter until fluffy. Add both sugars and beat again until creamy.

4. Add flax egg and vanilla extract. Mix to combine.

5. In another bowl, whisk flour, cocoa, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

6. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and stir to form dough. Add plant milk if crumbly.

7. Fold in most chocolate chips and candies. Save some for topping.

8. Scoop cookie dough onto prepared sheet. Bake for 8–9 minutes.

9. Immediately press more chips, sprinkles, and candy eyes into warm cookies.

10. Let cool on wire rack. Enjoy your spooky treats!
