Description
A quick and healthy Tuna Melt Wrap made with creamy tuna, Greek yogurt, melted mozzarella cheese, and a crispy tortilla. Perfect for a fast lunch or easy dinner.
Ingredients
1 can skipjack tuna, 5 oz or yellowfin
2 tablespoon greek yogurt
1/2 tablespoon dijon mustard
juice of 1/2 lemon
1/4 cup corn
1/4 cup red onion diced
1 tablespoon dill relish or capers
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 large burrito-sized wrap tortilla
Instructions
1. Drain tuna completely.
2. In a medium bowl mix tuna, Greek yogurt, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, corn, red onion, relish, garlic powder, and black pepper.
3. Warm the tortilla in the microwave for about 10–20 seconds to make it flexible.
4. Place shredded mozzarella cheese on the lower part of the tortilla.
5. Add the tuna mixture on top of the cheese.
6. Fold the sides of the tortilla toward the center.
7. Fold the bottom and roll tightly into a wrap.
8. Heat a skillet with a little olive oil on medium heat.
9. Place wrap seam side down and cook for 3–4 minutes.
10. Flip and cook another 2–3 minutes until golden and cheese melts.
Notes
Use whole wheat tortillas for extra fiber.
You can divide the filling into two smaller wraps.
Add avocado or jalapeños for flavor variations.
