Ingredients
4 chicken breasts (5–6 oz each) 2 tsp olive oil 1 ½ tbsp brown sugar 1 tsp paprika 1 tsp dried oregano or thyme ¼ tsp garlic powder ½ tsp salt ½ tsp black pepper Finely chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (204°C). 2. Pound chicken breasts to even thickness. 3. Pat chicken dry, then rub with olive oil. 4. Mix seasoning spices in a small bowl. 5. Rub seasoning all over chicken evenly. 6. Place on parchment-lined baking sheet, spaced out. 7. Bake for 18–25 minutes depending on thickness. 8. Check internal temp; remove at 162°F. 9. Let rest 5–8 minutes before serving.
Notes
Marinate with lemon juice and herbs for extra tenderness. Resting after baking keeps the chicken moist. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
