Strawberry Bread Loaf with Strawberry Glaze is a moist and sweet homemade bread packed with fresh strawberries and topped with a rich glaze.
Ingredients
¾ cup granulated sugar
½ cup milk
½ cup vegetable oil
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
2 cups strawberries diced
2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
2 cups powdered sugar
2 Tbsp butter melted
½ cup strawberries diced
½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
2. Mix sugar, milk, oil, egg, and vanilla in a medium bowl.
3. Add baking powder, salt, and flour gradually. Stir just until combined.
4. Toss diced strawberries with flour and gently fold them into the batter.
5. Pour batter into the pan and bake for 50 to 55 minutes.
6. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
7. Mix glaze ingredients until smooth and drizzle over cooled bread.
Notes
Use fresh strawberries for the best flavor.
Do not overmix the batter.
Let the bread cool completely before adding glaze.
