Description
Scotcheroos recipe best no-bake dessert bars with peanut butter, chocolate, and butterscotch layers.
Ingredients
3/4 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 1/2 cups Rice Krispie cereal
6 ounces butterscotch chips
12 ounces milk chocolate chips
1 tablespoon butter
Cooking spray
Instructions
1. Coat a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray
2. Heat corn syrup and sugar until boiling
3. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter and vanilla
4. Mix in cereal and press into pan
5. Melt chocolate, butterscotch chips, and butter
6. Spread topping over base
7. Refrigerate until set
8. Cut into squares and serve
Notes
Do not overcook sugar mixture
Use low heat for chocolate melting
Store at room temperature for best texture
