Description
Hi, I’m Ethan—the cook and creator behind this cozy kitchen. I first made Ranch Chicken Crock Pot on a cool afternoon when I needed something simple yet comforting. As it slowly simmered, the creamy ranch aroma filled my home and brought everyone into the kitchen. That’s the magic of slow cooking.
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 packet ranch seasoning mix
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil (optional)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
1. If desired, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and sear chicken breasts 2–3 minutes per side.
2. In the crockpot, combine cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
3. Place chicken into crockpot and coat fully with sauce.
4. Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
5. Shred chicken with two forks and stir into sauce.
6. Stir in sour cream. Garnish with cheddar cheese and parsley if desired.
Notes
Do not overfill chicken rolls.
Use fresh herbs for best flavor.
Sear before baking to lock in moisture.
