Description
Mini quiche Lorraine made with puff pastry, bacon, Swiss cheese, eggs, and cream. Perfect party appetizer or tea party snack.
Ingredients
1 sheet puff pastry thawed
4 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 large eggs
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Fresh chives optional
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a mini muffin tin
2. Roll puff pastry and cut into squares to fit muffin cups
3. Press pastry into each muffin cup
4. Whisk eggs cream salt pepper and nutmeg
5. Add bacon and Swiss cheese into pastry cups
6. Pour egg mixture into each cup
7. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top
8. Bake 15–20 minutes until golden
9. Cool slightly before removing
10. Garnish with chives and serve
Notes
Use fully cooked crispy bacon
Do not overfill custard mixture
Serve warm or room temperature
