Description
Pumpkin Pie Rice Krispies Treats combine your favorite nostalgic cereal bar with festive pumpkin spice filling in a pie-shaped no-bake dessert.
Ingredients
1½ tablespoons unsalted butter
2 cups mini marshmallows
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
2½ tablespoons unsalted butter
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
3 cups mini marshmallows
2 teaspoons orange food coloring
4 cups Rice Krispies cereal
Whipped cream (optional)
Instructions
1. Coat an 8-inch round cake pan with cooking spray.
2. Melt butter in saucepan, add marshmallows and stir until smooth.
3. Add vanilla and mix in 3 cups Rice Krispies. Press into pan for crust.
4. Melt butter with pumpkin pie spice in a new saucepan.
5. Add marshmallows, orange food coloring, and stir until melted.
6. Mix in 4 cups Rice Krispies. Press into crust to fill.
7. Let cool, invert pan, slice and top with whipped cream.
Notes
Use natural food coloring or canned pumpkin for a deeper flavor.
Store at room temperature, tightly wrapped, for up to 2 days.
Decorate with whipped cream, sprinkles, or candy.
