Description
These Orange Cream Cheese Swirl Brownies are rich, fudgy, and swirled with a vibrant orange cream cheese layer. They’re the perfect Halloween dessert or anytime treat—easy to make, beautiful to serve, and impossible to resist.
Ingredients
Brownie Base
1 box fudge brownie mix (18.3 oz)
+ ingredients on the box (typically water, oil, eggs)
Cream Cheese Swirl
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
9–10 drops orange gel food coloring
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the brownie mix box (usually 325–350°F). Grease or line a 9×9 inch pan with parchment paper.
2. Prepare brownie mix as directed on the box using the recommended amount of water, oil, and eggs. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
3. In a separate bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar, egg, vanilla, and orange gel food coloring. Mix until fully combined and creamy.
4. Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture on top of the brownie batter. Use a butter knife to swirl gently in figure-eight motions.
5. Bake according to brownie box instructions (typically 35–40 minutes), or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
6. Let cool completely before slicing. Store in the fridge for up to 5 days.
Notes
For deeper chocolate flavor, replace water in the brownie mix with brewed coffee.
Use gel food coloring to keep the swirl vibrant and thick.
Top with festive sprinkles or candy eyes before baking for a fun Halloween twist.
