Description
These lemon blueberry scones are tender, flaky, and bursting with fresh blueberries and bright lemon flavor, finished with a sweet glaze.
Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
3 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp lemon zest
6 tbsp cold butter
1 cup blueberries
3/4 cup half-and-half
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp half-and-half (glaze)
1 tsp lemon juice
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F and prepare baking sheet
2. Mix dry ingredients and lemon zest
3. Cut in butter until crumbly
4. Fold in blueberries and add liquid
5. Shape dough and cut into wedges
6. Bake for 16 minutes until golden
7. Prepare glaze and drizzle over cooled scones

Use cold butter for flaky texture
Do not overmix dough
