Homemade Easy Cheesy Pizza Pockets are crispy on the outside and loaded with gooey mozzarella inside. Perfect for pizza at home easy lunch or fun dinner ideas for teens.
Ingredients
1 package refrigerated pizza dough
Optional homemade dough
1/2 cup marinara or pizza sauce
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup mini pepperoni or cooked sausage
1/4 cup chopped bell peppers, mushrooms, or olives
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Pinch red pepper flakes
1 egg beaten
Dried oregano or garlic powder
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line baking sheet with parchment paper
2. Roll out dough and cut into 4×4 inch squares
3. Spread small spoon of marinara leaving edges clear
4. Add mozzarella Parmesan and toppings
5. Sprinkle seasoning
6. Fold dough and seal edges with fork
7. Brush tops with egg wash
8. Bake 12 to 15 minutes until golden
9. Cool slightly and serve with extra sauce

Seal edges tightly
Reheat in oven for best crisp texture
