Description
Ham and Havarti Cheese Sliders are warm baked Hawaiian roll sandwiches filled with savory ham, creamy melted Havarti cheese, and topped with a buttery mustard poppy seed glaze. Perfect for parties, appetizers, or easy family dinners.
Ingredients
1 package Savory Butter Hawaiian Rolls (12 count)
12 slices Black Forest ham
6 slices Havarti cheese
4 tablespoons salted butter
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon poppy seeds
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×12 baking dish.
2. Slice the entire pack of Hawaiian rolls in half without separating them.
3. Place the bottom half of rolls in the baking dish.
4. Layer each roll with one slice of ham and half a slice of Havarti cheese.
5. Place the top half of the rolls over the ham and cheese.
6. Melt butter in a microwave safe bowl for about 30 seconds.
7. Stir in Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, and poppy seeds.
8. Brush the butter mixture evenly over the top of the rolls.
9. Cover loosely with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
10. Remove foil and bake another 5 minutes until cheese melts and tops are golden.
Notes
Use Swiss or provolone cheese as substitutes if Havarti is unavailable.
Sliders can be assembled ahead of time and refrigerated before baking.
Serve with salad, pasta salad, or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
