Description
Moist Halloween Red Velvet Cupcakes filled with raspberry sauce and topped with spooky cream cheese frosting. A creepy, delicious dessert for Halloween parties.
Ingredients
185 g granulated sugar
150 g all-purpose flour
0.5 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 eggs
200 ml milk
0.5 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
70 ml vegetable oil
30 g cornstarch
2 tablespoon cocoa powder
0.5 tablespoon red food coloring

300 g raspberries
4 tablespoon granulated sugar
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon lemon juice

120 g unsalted butter
100 g cream cheese
70 g icing sugar
0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tin.
2. Mix dry ingredients: flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
3. In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, vinegar, vanilla, and oil until smooth.
4. Combine wet and dry ingredients, then fold in food coloring.
5. Spoon batter into liners and bake for 18–20 minutes.
6. While baking, simmer raspberries, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice for the sauce.
7. Once cupcakes cool, core and fill with raspberry sauce.
8. Make frosting by beating butter, cream cheese, vanilla, and icing sugar until fluffy.
9. Frost cupcakes and drizzle extra raspberry sauce on top.
10. Decorate with candy eyes, spiderwebs, or sprinkles.
Notes
You can use frozen raspberries if fresh ones aren’t available.
Add black gel to frosting for dramatic Halloween effects.
