Description

These Halloween Pretzel Rods are crunchy, sweet, and spookily fun! A quick, festive treat dipped in chocolate and topped with sprinkles, candy eyes, and more.


Ingredients

Scale

1 bag (8–10 oz) pretzel rods

12 oz orange candy melts or white chocolate chips

6 oz black candy melts or dark chocolate chips

2 tbsp coconut oil or shortening (divided)

Halloween sprinkles (orange & black)

Mini chocolate chips

Candy eyes

Orange and black gel food coloring (if using white chocolate)


Instructions

1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Melt orange candy melts with 1 tbsp coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals.

3. Dip each pretzel rod halfway into melted candy, then lay flat on parchment to cool.

4. Melt black candy melts with remaining coconut oil. Drizzle over dipped rods or use for mummy wrap and monster hair.

5. Add candy eyes, sprinkles, and mini chocolate chips while chocolate is still soft.

6. Let set completely at room temp or refrigerate for 10 minutes.

7. Store in an airtight container or wrap individually for gifting.

Notes

You can swap orange candy melts with white chocolate colored using gel food coloring.

Store in cool, dry place for up to 2 weeks.
