Description

These Gooey Monster Cookies are soft, vibrant, and perfect for Halloween fun. Made with cream cheese, cake mix, and candy eyeballs, they’re a spooky treat kids love.


Ingredients

Scale

1 box white cake mix

1/2 cup butter, softened

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 egg

Powdered sugar

Neon food coloring

Candy eyeballs


Instructions

1. Beat butter, vanilla, egg, and cream cheese until fluffy.

2. Mix in cake mix until dough forms.

3. Divide dough into bowls based on number of colors.

4. Add neon food coloring and mix well.

5. Chill for 30 minutes.

6. Roll dough into balls and coat with powdered sugar.

7. Place on greased cookie sheet and slightly flatten.

8. Bake at 350°F for 10–12 minutes.

9. Add candy eyeballs while cookies are still warm.

10. Cool and enjoy!

Notes

Don’t overbake – they should look slightly underdone in the center.

You can freeze unbaked dough balls for future use.
