Description
Juicy ribeye steaks seared in garlic butter and topped with creamy Parmesan sauce. A rich, easy steak dinner perfect for two.
Ingredients
4 pieces ribeye steaks (1-inch thick, 8 oz each)
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
4 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
½ cup heavy cream
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Season steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add 2 tbsp of butter.
3. Add steaks and sear for 4–5 minutes on one side.
4. Flip, add garlic and remaining butter, cook another 4–5 minutes.
5. Remove steaks and let them rest.
6. Reduce heat to medium, pour in heavy cream and scrape up browned bits.
7. Add Parmesan, whisk until thickened.
8. Taste and season the sauce.
9. Slice steaks, serve with sauce, and garnish with parsley.
Notes
For medium steaks, increase cook time to 6 minutes per side. Use cast iron for best sear.
