Soft, buttery French Breakfast Puffs coated in cinnamon sugar—perfect for a quick homemade breakfast.
Ingredients
Scale
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp baking powder
1 tsp kosher salt
½ tsp ground nutmeg
⅔ cup butter
2 ½ cups sugar
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1 cup butter (for coating)
3 Tbsp cinnamon
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease muffin tin
2. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl
3. Cream butter and sugar, add eggs
4. Alternate adding flour mixture and milk
5. Fill muffin cups and bake 18–20 minutes
6. Melt butter and prepare cinnamon sugar
7. Dip warm muffins in butter and coat with cinnamon sugar

Do not overmix batter
