Description
Egg and cheese toasts made in the air fryer—crispy, cheesy, and quick. A perfect breakfast or light lunch you’ll want on repeat.
Ingredients
2 slices thick bread (sourdough or Texas toast)
2 large eggs
1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
Salt and pepper to taste
Butter or oil spray (optional)
Toppings: chives, spinach, bacon (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat air fryer to 350°F.
2. Use a spoon to press a well in the center of each bread slice.
3. Crack one egg into each well carefully.
4. Sprinkle shredded cheese generously over each slice.
5. Season with salt and pepper.
6. Place toasts in air fryer basket using parchment or non-stick spray.
7. Cook for 6–8 minutes for runny yolk, up to 10 for firmer yolk.
8. Remove carefully and garnish with herbs or hot sauce.
Notes
Use parchment paper for easier cleanup.
Try different cheeses like Swiss or pepper jack.
For extra protein, add cooked bacon or spinach under the egg.
