Ingredients
2 large chicken breasts
Salt and pepper
1 teaspoon Italian herb seasoning
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
Olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/2 cup chicken broth
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 cup heavy cream
Fresh chopped parsley
Lemon slices
Instructions
1. Cut each chicken breast lengthwise to create thin cutlets and pound lightly for even thickness.
2. Season both sides of chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
3. Dredge chicken in flour and shake off excess.
4. Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook chicken 4-5 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked.
5. Remove chicken and set aside.
6. Melt butter in the same skillet and cook garlic until fragrant.
7. Add chicken broth and lemon juice, then simmer briefly.
8. Stir in heavy cream and season with salt and pepper.
9. Return chicken to the pan and simmer for 4-5 minutes until sauce thickens.
10. Serve with parsley and lemon slices.
Notes
Use freshly squeezed lemon juice for best flavor.
Do not overcook chicken to keep it juicy.
