Description
A quick, creamy tomato garlic pasta made with fresh tomatoes, garlic, and heavy cream. Rich, flavorful, and ready in just 20 minutes.
Ingredients
8 oz spaghetti or fettuccine
1 cup ripe tomatoes (diced)
1 cup heavy cream
4 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup fresh basil (chopped)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Boil salted water in a large pot and cook pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté garlic until golden.
3. Add tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Simmer 5 minutes.
4. Lower heat, stir in heavy cream until blended.
5. Add pasta to sauce and toss until coated.
6. Top with basil and Parmesan (optional).
Notes
Use coconut milk for a dairy-free version.
Add grilled chicken or shrimp for protein.
Pairs well with salad or roasted veggies.
