Description
A refreshing creamy cucumber tomato salad made with crisp cucumbers, juicy tomatoes, onions and a tangy dill dressing.
Ingredients
4 cups sliced English cucumber
½ cup sliced red onion
1 pint grape or cherry tomatoes halved
⅓ cup sour cream
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
¾ teaspoon granulated sugar
1½ teaspoons chopped fresh dill
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon kosher salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Toss sliced cucumbers, red onion and tomatoes together in a large bowl.
2. In a separate bowl whisk sour cream, mayonnaise, olive oil, vinegar, sugar, dill, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
3. Drizzle dressing over vegetables.
4. Gently stir until everything is evenly coated.
5. Adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if desired.
6. Chill for 15 minutes before serving for best flavor.
Notes
Use English cucumbers for best texture.
Pat cucumbers dry to prevent watery salad.
Serve chilled for the freshest flavor.
