Description
Creamy beef pasta made with ground beef, penne, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning. Perfect family dinner ready in 30 minutes.
Ingredients
8 oz penne pasta
1 lb lean ground beef
1 cup heavy cream
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 medium onion, diced
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tsp olive oil
Instructions
1. Cook penne until al dente. Reserve 1 cup pasta water and drain.
2. Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil for 5 minutes.
3. Brown ground beef and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
4. Stir in heavy cream and reserved pasta water. Add Parmesan and mix until melted.
5. Combine pasta with sauce and toss gently.
6. Serve hot with extra Parmesan if desired.
Notes
Use freshly grated Parmesan for best melting.
Add spinach or mushrooms for extra nutrition.
Reheat with a splash of milk to restore creaminess.
