Description
Cheesy Taco Jumbo Pasta Shells combine taco-seasoned beef, salsa, and melted cheddar cheese stuffed into pasta shells for an easy family dinner.
Ingredients
12 ounces jumbo pasta shells
1 pound ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
2/3 cup water
1 1/2 cups jarred salsa divided
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese divided
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Cook pasta shells according to package directions and drain.
3. Brown ground beef in skillet over medium heat.
4. Drain excess fat.
5. Add taco seasoning and water then cook until thickened.
6. Stir in 1 cup salsa and 3/4 cup shredded cheese.
7. Fill cooked pasta shells with the taco beef mixture.
8. Place shells in baking dish and top with remaining salsa and cheese.
9. Cover dish and bake for 15 minutes until cheese melts.
Notes
Use mild salsa for kid-friendly flavor.
Add black beans or corn for extra filling.
Serve with sour cream or avocado.
