Description
A fiery, sweet, and savory buldak ramen recipe made with gochujang, gochugaru, and customizable toppings.
Ingredients
2 packs Korean ramen noodles
2 tbsp gochujang
1 tbsp gochugaru
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp brown sugar
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger, minced
1 tsp sesame oil
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese (optional)
1 tbsp sesame seeds
2 scallions, chopped
Instructions
1. Boil ramen noodles until al dente; drain and reserve 1/4 cup water.
2. Sauté garlic and ginger in oil.
3. Add chicken or tofu if using and cook through.
4. Stir in gochujang, gochugaru, soy sauce, and sugar.
5. Thin sauce with reserved water; toss in noodles.
6. Drizzle sesame oil and stir to coat.
7. Top with cheese if using and cover to melt.
8. Garnish with sesame seeds and scallions.
9. Serve hot.
Notes
Adjust gochugaru for preferred spice level. Add broth for buldak soup. Use tofu and vegan cheese for vegan version.
