This Amish baked oatmeal is a warm, cinnamon-sugar breakfast perfect for family mornings or meal prep.
Ingredients
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon divided
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 1/4 cup milk
3 cups old fashioned oats
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F
2. Grease an 8×8 baking dish
3. Whisk brown sugar and eggs
4. Add baking powder, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt
5. Mix in melted butter and milk
6. Stir in oats
7. Spread in baking dish
8. Mix sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle on top
9. Bake 30–35 minutes
10. Cool slightly and serve
Notes
Use old fashioned oats for best texture
Add fruits or nuts for variation
Store leftovers in fridge up to 4 days
