Air fryer halibut is quick, healthy, and perfectly crispy. This no-breading recipe delivers juicy fish fillets or steaks in just 10 minutes.
Ingredients
2 halibut fillets (or steaks)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
1. Pat the halibut dry with paper towels.
2. Brush both sides with olive oil.
3. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and lemon zest.
4. Preheat air fryer to 375°F.
5. Place halibut in basket, skin-side down.
6. Cook for 8–10 minutes (fillets) or 10–12 minutes (steaks), flipping halfway.
7. Check for doneness: internal temp should reach 130°F.
8. Serve hot with lemon wedges.
Notes
Use skin-on or skinless fillets. For added crust, brush with Dijon before seasoning. Add fresh herbs or flavored butter after cooking.
